Last week was rough in a variety of ways. I follow someone on Instagram who is a bright spot in the world. She was doing an IG live, and I jumped on the live. Her IG has nothing to do with health and wellness, so you can imagine my shock when I joined the live and the topic being discussed was Lyme Disease. I was totally unprepared for the topic and all of the comments from others saying that they have friends who died from Lyme Disease in their 20s and 30s. If you have been reading my posts since the beginning, you know that I have had to prepare for the possibility of dying quite a bit over the years. However, when I am joining an IG live to think about something else, and the topic is randomly about Lyme Disease (Surprise!) and the many deaths that her followers have witnessed because of it, it can be disheartening. Of course, I left the live event as soon as I realized what was happening and quickly moved on to something else, but the topic lingered.
Then, a different person on Instagram, an expert in the field, was using her IG page to discuss the dangerous combination of mold, Lyme, and Epstein-Barr Virus. She refers to the combination as the Toxic Trio. I knew most of the information already, but I was unprepared to hear it again in that moment. Surprise!
I also haven’t felt great physically this entire week. And, last night and today have been extra rough with physical side effects. I am talking headaches, chills, nausea, vomiting, etc. I wasn’t expecting these side effects from the treatment quite yet, and they came on quickly. Surprise!
Brutal. Surprise health topics on random IG lives. Surprise timing for a reminder about the Toxic Trio. Surprise timing for physical side effects. Lots of unknowns.
Beautiful. Moving through the emotions in healthy ways. Support and love from friends and family. Support, love, and physical care from the Husband.
Just another day of . . . This Brutiful Life: The Brutal & Beautiful Moments of My Life.
