Our calendar has always been something that has really helped us stay organized as a couple. However, we are now becoming best friends with our calendar.
Here is what our next week looks like so far (with the potential for more to come):
- 2 Biofeedback appointments (joint attendance)
- 4 doctor’s appointments (husband x 2, joint x 2)
- 2 mold professional appointments (joint attendance)
- 1 therapy appointment (joint attendance)
Luckily, some of these appointments are in the evenings or on the weekend. Also, the husband has some PTO he can use for weeks like this, and I can work odd hours to get caught up at work. We are grateful for those things.
We finally received the final report from the mold inspection professionals yesterday, and we are still relatively uncertain about the interpretation. It seems like the consensus so far is that most of my mold exposure has been from prior exposure, but there are some things that we will need to do in our home as well. We should know more next week. Maybe?!?
If you don’t hear from us next week, you will know why. π³
My maternal grandmother is also not doing well, so the schedule for next week may change depending on her condition. She is our priority right now.
Brutal. Weeks with so many appointments and so much adulting. The declining health of loved ones and saying goodbye.
Beautiful. PTO. Flexible work hours. Compassionate bosses and/or family members. Husband and I working well as a team, using our tools to stay connected, and becoming experts in taking one day at a time.
Just another day of . . . This Brutiful Life: The Brutal & Beautiful Moments of My Life.
